ENTRY REQUIMENTS
All visitors entering Zanzibar are required to have a
valid passport and entry visa. VISA can be obtained
from the Tanzania Diplomatic missions abroad or for
some nationals get at the point of entry.
Please check your status before departing your home
country.
HEALTH
Visitors may be asked to produce a valid international
Yellow Fever vaccination Certificate. Malaria is a
common disease in Zanzibar. It is advisable to take
precaution from being bitten by Mosquitoes.

CODES OF CONDUCT
The majority of Zanzibar residents practice the
Islamic Faith, thus respective attire is advisable in
order to build up a friendly atmosphere with the
natives hence easily share the richess of Swahili
culture.
You are requested not to eat, drink or smoke in public
during the Holy Month of “Ramadan”
MONEY / CURRENCY
Tanzanian Shillings are the local currency. You can
only change your currency in banks, bureau de change
and other accredited points. It is illegal to change
currency on the streets.
WATER
Avoid untreated water. Bottled water is widely
available.

Prices are based on prevailing tariffs at the time of
publishing and are subject to change without notice.
BOOKING CONDITION AND CANCELLATION
A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of a
25% non-refundable deposit on our bank account. Only
the amount actually arrived on our bank account shall
be considered as paid (transfer cost are to be paid
by the clients). The balance must be paid at the start
of your program.
PERSONAL INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that all clients are
individually insured. This travel insurance should
cover personal accident, medical expenses and
repatriation, trip cancellation and loss of personal
effects. Make sure your insurer is aware of the type
of travel to be undertaken.
INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE
An international driving license is required if you
wish to hire a car or motorbike.
