Room descriptions
Nadia:
The Nadia room (20 m2, located on the first floor) was the room that had the
first guests. In Arabic culture people name their first-born girl often Nadia,
that’s why we gave the room this name.
A double Zanzibar bed, sitting area, build in cabinet and an en-suite bathroom
(3 m2) with shower, toilet and washing basin.
Princesses young or more mature, with or without their prince, can enjoy the
luxurious surroundings, even on a more modest budge.
Rosewood:
The Rosewood (20 m2, located on the second floor) got his name just by naming
the double bed, since it is made out of rosewood.
Further a sitting area; build in cabinet and an en-suite bathroom (3 m2) with
shower, toilet and washing basin.
Decorated in soft tones, it is an ideal room for the energetic traveller, who want
to relax and be inspired to plan his next excursion.
Farizah:
The Suite Farizah (48 m2, located on the first floor) was named like its arch
inside which is Farizah in Arabic.
It is a huge ballroom with double bed, build in cabinet, book case, sitting area,
open bathroom with huge bath and big private balcony (11m2).
In the Sultan's bath, which is big enough for two, you can enjoy a chilled bottle
of our fine selection of wines or just soak away while you watch one of the latest
movies from our DVD library.
Sultana:
The Suite Sultana (48 m2, located on the second floor) means wife of the Sultan.
The large open room has a double bed, build in cabinet, book case, sitting area,
open bathroom with huge bath. Alongside your ballroom we offer you a big
private balcony (11m2).
A perfect hideaway where you can overview the rooftops of Stone Town whilst
reaching your tour guide and planning your trips to discover this historic town.
Be aware in this highly romantic room you will fall in love all over again.

Kijani:
The Suite Kijani (48 m2, located on the first floor) is decorated with a green
colour scheme, Kijani means green in Kiswahili.
The apartment like room is divided in three parts; the entrance is a large lounge
(13 m2), secondly a separate superb bathroom (15 m2) with huge bath, washing
basin and large dressing area with open cabinet, and thirdly but not last a
separate bedroom (20 m2) with a double and a single bed, sitting area and TV
corner.
All this only for you, gives a guaranteed homely feeling.
Shaba:
Suite Shaba (48 m2, located on the second floor) means copper in Kiswahili.
brass bed and copper decoration in the bedroom made us name the room like that.

prepare you the most exquisite breakfast which you can enjoy while watching
the morning news. Isn't this better than home?
Arabica:
The Suite Arabica (47 m2, located on the third floor) is decorated in Arabic style
and this was the inspiration for the room name.
The room has a large double bed, with an Arabic styled lounge area on cushions,
TV corner, sitting area, and a balcony (5 m2) overlooking the rooftops of Stone
Town. The semi separate bathroom (15 m2) has a large shower, double washing
basin and a very large dressing area with a beautifully created Zanzibar dresser.
It is a bright room ideal to relax and plan your itinerary of tours and sightseeing.
Dinner at the Tower Top Restaurant (read the introduction) is extremely popular, so pre-booking is essential. A small buffet breakfast is served in the mornings as well as lunch in the Tower Top from 11;00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. with an a la carte menu including a wide range of choices
Facilities
All rooms have: Air conditioner, High-pressure (hot)water, Ceiling fan, Spring
box mattresses, Mosquito nets, In- house telephone, Digital Safe, Cable network
TV, DVD player, Bathrobes, Little things box and (on request) Hair Dryer.
We have fully air-conditioned lobby, reception, restaurant and bar areas.
Palace Restaurant
We serve lunch menu (between 12:00 and 16:00) and on reservation in the
evening a gastronomic dinner in our restaurant.
As a boutique hotel we are focussing on personal attention and pampering to
our guests. Therefore our guests can experience real top class food and service
in our own hotel restaurant.
Our Chef creates a meal as no other with fantastic basic ingredients, just a few
extra touches and lots of passion. You will find with us the finest fresh seafood
that can be found on the Island in our private restaurant. Daily we have a
dinner choice, with specially selected top wines. The main courses vary from
Tuna, Kingfish, Jumbo Prawns, to the famous 1kg up to 2 kg Char grilled
Lobster. Also we serve meat dishes of beef and pork. Vegetarians will find their
dinner with us too. We too serve fine starters and desserts; a good example is
our Carpaccio of Springbok as starter.
If you want to have a fancy dinner, something special or different, experience
real top class food and service make a reservation in the “Palace Restaurant”.
“Sukinah” Lounge and Bar
In the Arabian lounge we serve a wide variety of local and continental
(alcoholic) drinks. Further we serve beautifully decorated cocktails, coffees and
teas throughout the day.
“Palace Luxury Spa”
Zanzibar Palace Luxury spa has a contemporary look and feel with one-of-akind
art and Furniture. As you walk through the front door, you notice the soft
aqua blue interior colours along with the antique furniture. You are immediately
put into a state of calm and relaxation.
Clients then stroll through archways to the quiet waiting area where they’ll be
met with a relaxing warm neck wrap.
The massage and facial rooms have walls
accented with candles, when the body treatment is finished you can enjoy a hot
rain shower in complete privacy. The spa’s wellness centre has air conditioning
and the interiors are unique and highlighted with one-of-a-kind art created by a
local artist.
