Matemwe beach village is a small hotel located on its own long stretch of classic palm lined white sandy beach on the north east of Zanzibar Island. Just off show from the hotel is the world famous Mnemba Atoll whose circling reef has some of the best diving in the whole of east Africa. A long the beach, are palm thatched villages where friendly local people live a traditional life dominated by fishing. It take s one only 45 minutes drive from Zanzibar main town to reach to the Hotel.

• 5 suite rooms primarily designed for couple having one large bed, but there is also a single beds under the stares and Baraza beds for children. These rooms are set back from the beach a bed have an upstairs veranda area with a lounging chairs perfect for reading and afternoon snooze.
• 17 standard rooms 7 of which are on the front beach line and the other 10are fur back but also offers a glimpse of the sea and breezes through the night.
• The star room is the Asali suite specifically for honey mooners. It features one big bed and is separated from the lodge. It has its own plunging pool and comes complete with 2 dedicated staffs to cater for your every need.
