Jozani Forest is about 20 minutes drive outside Stone Town, on the main road towards the East Coast. It is a conservation projects aimed at preserving some of the last indigenous forest on the Island.

The forest is home to a unique species of monkeys, known as Kirks Red Columbus Monkey.
